Max Capital defends proposed deal with IPC (AP)

Insurer Max Capital Group Ltd. on Monday defended its deal with IPC Holdings Ltd., saying it is a better value for shareholders than the proposed deal by Validus Holdings Ltd. to acquire IPC.
